W.H.In Sept of 201, W.D. Demmons was awarded a Greater Portland Landmarks Preservation Honor Award, for our contribution in restoring the George S. Hunt Block (1886). The restoration involved a three-story Queen Anne mixed-use building, which had been damaged in a fire and suffering from clear signs of maintenance neglect.
W.D. Demmons was proud to have a hand in restoring this iconic piece of Portland’s architectural history, and we look forward to striving for such repeat honors in our future work.
